Docklands & Ilford memo February 2012

Dear All,

Thank you for supporting the dojos in what we hope will be another rewarding year. On the competition side of things, last year we done very well with a 1st and 2nd in the clicker world championships and several other placings at home and abroad. But we are not just sport dojos and want to make sure that all our students strive to attain a high level in all aspects of the art. This year is the 25th anniversary of Docklands dojo and we will be marking this sometime during the summer within our annual club competition (Docklands v Ilford). We hope you will support us as you have done the last 3yrs.

As usual, January is the month that students trickle back to train after having the festive break and we are glad to say that many of you have returned and hope that you continue to enjoy and benefit from our training.

Licence Renewals

Please note! Every person in the British Karate Kyokushinkai needs to renew their licence before they expired on the 31st January. I know it’s not the best time of year to be paying out money, but it is necessary. The renewal fee is: £28 for adults and £15.00 for under 16yrs. New member fees are £31 and £18 respectively. Payment can be by cheque made payable to: BKK or by cash, as Shihan Maria is the Treasurer of the association.
